FADING FASHION & FAIRY LIGHTS – Christmas Bonus

Kaffetrykkeri, Rogaland Kunstsenter, Stavanger, Norway, 2022

In 2022, I had the opportunity to share a work, for the first time in the window of Kaffetrykkeri, on the ground floor of Rogaland Kunstsenter, the local Art Center. I placed a large Christmas tree in the window, decorated with fairy lights and an abundance of clothing tags. The work is a comment on fast fashion, consumerism and the development of Christmas as a transactional holiday.
